![]() Then searching on the DUC, I only read about people having issues getting PT 8 to recognize machine control, but that's about it. For instance, on Sweetwater's site, they say it's great for anyone using PT 5.1 or higher. My original thought was that I needed machine control in order to make that work, but everywhere I look it seems like machine control is this archaic digi option that no one really sells anymore. So I want to be able to use incoming timecode to drive my session so that basically I'm only here for monitoring purposes. So I have the producers / director here in house, and the talent is out of town. Well, now the tables have turned, and I'm pulling my hair out trying to figure out how to get this to work. The other studio used the timecode I sent to drive their quicktime so they could hear the talent perfectly in sync with picture. So we connected via ISDN, and on one line I sent talent audio, and on the other I sent timecode from our DigiSync IO. I did a few ADR sessions recently where the talent was here at my studio, and the director / producers were out of town.
